A Sensory-Friendly Training Environment

Not every child fits the standard martial arts mold — and that is exactly why Shogun Tigers was built differently. Our instructors are trained to recognize and support students with sensory processing differences, attention challenges, and neurodiverse learning styles.

Our approach includes:
• Predictable class structure and clear transitions to reduce anxiety
• Movement sequences designed to build proprioceptive and vestibular awareness
• Low-stimulation warm-up periods before high-intensity activity
• Individual pacing alongside group participation
• Ongoing communication with parents about progress and sensory observations

Every child deserves to feel capable, included, and celebrated. At Shogun Tigers, we create that environment every single class.
